The Kiss of Death in Yellow Pages and Local Online Advertising

88% Of People Do Not Know How To Kiss Their Partner.

My wife and I were having a late afternoon snack in a grand, historic San Francisco restaurant perched on a cliff suspended over the crashing waves of the blue Pacific. As she sipped her wine and I drank my beer, an uninvited guest joined us at the table.

A paperclip-sized cockroach scurried from behind the cut glass candleholder, stepped gingerly over the placemat and stopped, Kafkaesque, in front of the drink specials as if pondering the selection.

My wife barely controlled her natural instinct to run screaming from the establishment.

I convinced her to stay just long enough for me to chug the rest of my beer. Luckily, I can drain a full Sammy in 8 seconds flat.

In the restaurant marketing business, cockroaches are the Kiss of Death. When la cucaracha made his presence known, the restaurant lost our patronage forever.

Did you know there is a similar Kiss of Death in Yellow Pages advertising?

It’s true. If you do this one thing, your ad is practically guaranteed to fail. This mistake is so destructive that it will be nearly impossible for the ad to generate enough calls to pay for itself.

The kiss of death in a Yellow Pages ad is

"Only Having a Toll Free Telephone Number and NOT having a Local Number."

Research on over 77,000 Yellow Pages ads shows that a toll free number signals to the shopper that the call will be routed to a distant call center and will probably be handled by an anonymous operator who has no knowledge of the local market.

Yellow Pages users overwhelmingly want to work with LOCAL companies.

To correct this devastating error, include a local number as the primary number in your ad.

A local number is one critically important step toward building a successful Yellow Pages ad.

Daylight Saving Time 2007 - Kiss Your Hard Work Goodbye?

88% Of People Do Not Know How To Kiss Their Partner.

    >>  Learn How To Be A Wonderful Kisser and Make Your Partner Beg For More <<

Millions of PC users across the country are going to be in for a rude awakening come March 11, 2007. That’s when the new Daylight Saving Time goes into effect in 48 States.

So what does that mean to you? Well, if you use any Windows Operating System from Windows 95 through XP (Pro or Home) Service Pack 1, you could be facing a big problem. And it doesn’t matter if your PC is used in your home, or in your office.

If your PC is trusted to do any type of program operation based on time, you may run into an unforeseen problem when March rolls around.

Those folks running the previously mention Operating Systems wrongly assume that their PC’s will automatically switch to DST. They are right. BUT, not until April. By then, you could have a real problem on your hands.

Here’s a portion of an email that a major corporation sent out to all of it’s offices nation wide. “The list of impacted systems could include anything from the Heating/AC system to Access Door Controls to Trading Systems and Blackberries.”

The company also noted: “All associates using the Outlook Calendar will be impacted by this change. In order for Outlook to see the new DST rules, an updated tool must be run on every user’s PC.”

While Microsoft will provide a free “fix” for users of XP with Service Pack 2 or 3, other users could be left dangling in the wind. Or, they can contact Microsoft for a fix, at a fee.

The bottom line is, you need to update your PC’s clock/calendar system as soon as possible to avoid any type of log jam or delay in your projects. The sooner you take steps to correct this on your PC, the quicker you’ll be able to breath easy.

Learning to Kiss the Rock or Buy A New Kayak

88% Of People Do Not Know How To Kiss Their Partner.

    >>  Learn How To Be A Wonderful Kisser and Make Your Partner Beg For More <<

Paddling a river is an immense joy because you get an intimate feel of the power of nature below you in the flowing water. Ah, but what if mother nature throws you a curve?

Kayaking is a multi-tiered sport. There are those that prefer rapids and only rapids. Others like to get out and cruise a river to take in the serenity of nature. If you prefer rapids, rocks are your friends. If you prefer to cruise, rocks can be a problem. This is particularly true if they barely break the water or are just below the surface.

Rivers often look serene and calm when you are paddling down them. Don’t be fooled. A river is, in my opinion, a living thing. Like us, it has pimples and such that can be hazardous to you if you are not paying attention. When cruising a river, this often happens when you come upon a boulder just below the surface you failed to notice.

When this happens, you have to make a quick decision. The first is to try to steer around the beast and save the day. Ah, but what if there isn’t time? Are you fated to crack your rig on the rock and potentially bust it up? No, but you have to fight your natural instinct.

Assume you are serenely cruising a river. You suddenly realize there is a boulder five feet in front of your. It has lots of edges. You can see paint from previous kayaks on the edges. The boulder appears to be smiling! What do you do? The answer is to angle away from the boulder, but only so much as to change your direction. You want to aim for the outside corner of the boulder and try to maintain your speed. Now comes the tricky part.

As you approach the boulder, you must lean into it. With your upper body. And your face. By leaning into the rock, you will push your rig down into the current flowing around its edge. The current will grab the rig and pitch you around the rock. Feel free to reach out and push off the boulder if you can, but make sure to maintain your balance. If you don’t, you may need some new teeth.

Learning to kiss the rock may sound simple, but it is difficult. Faced with a sudden, dangerous situation, your survival instinct will always tell you to run. In this situation, that means leaning away from the boulder. Doing so is a disaster. At a minimum, you are going to run your keep up and over the boulder. There will be damage, potentially enough that you will need a new kayak. Fight your instincts or pay dearly!

How To Kiss Like A Mad French

88% Of People Do Not Know How To Kiss Their Partner.

    >>  Learn How To Be A Wonderful Kisser and Make Your Partner Beg For More <<

Learn the basics and get the basics right, make an experiment and try different styles and more advanced techniques. The basics is...

Brush your teeth, get a good bath, nicely groomed and clean and fresh, before meeting the other person. It will be worse a thing if kissing with the smell of a garbage truck. Get into a comfortable position because you can't kiss if your back feels like it's gonna break. Hold your lover , firmly but gently and don't cause pain. Try to hold the shoulders, the neck or gently on the side of the face, one side or both sides.

Move your faces closer. Don't bump noses. Suggestion would be the guy angle his face slightly so you don't bump noses. Kiss gently, normal closed lips kissing, with close your eyes. By closing your eyes increases the sensations, and also sets the mood. Continue kissing gently. Get comfortable with simple closed lips. If fine till here, slowly and lightly draw your tongue across the other person's lips.

Chances are from here, if the other person lightly parts her tongue slowly try to explore the other person's tongue in a light licking motion. The tongue has a very sensitive surface, which is why tongue to tongue is the essence of french kissing. After you've tried lightly licking the other person's tongue, you can try sucking on it and other things like that.

Explore the other areas of the mouth. Especially the roof of the mouth. Lightly lick, or tickle the area with your tongue. Don't bite. whatever you do, don't bite. Don't swing your tongue round and round like a windmill. Breathe through your nose. Breathe through your nose. Breathe through your nose. You can lightly use your hands too, lightly rubbing the other person along the waist, along the back, the arms, especially the inside of the arm, the neck, maybe running your fingers through her hair. Again, don't cause pain.
